Why I wrote a book about AI
Most of my life has been spent asking one question: what produces things? It began in business. I wanted to know why one advertisement worked while another failed, why one company grew while another disappeared, and why the same effort could produce very different results.
That same question eventually carried me into technology, and now into artificial intelligence. AI is not a separate world for specialists. It is simply the latest place where ordinary people are being told they must become experts before they are allowed to participate.
I disagree. You do not need to understand how AI works before you can begin learning how AI can work for you. Curiosity is enough to start. The same curiosity that once led me to ask, "Is this all there is?" led me into this book.
I wrote AI Curious? for the everyday person who feels like the world has moved on without them. It is the practical side of the same honest, questioning posture you find throughout the rest of my work.
