Story submissions: If you submit a story via the Story Vault community form, we collect your name, optional email address, story title, and story content.

Usage data: We may collect anonymized data about how visitors use the site (pages visited, time spent) to improve content and performance. No personally identifiable information is collected in this process.

How We Use Your Information

To respond privately to your messages and inquiries, including sending a private return link by email.
To notify Rick when a new private conversation or reply arrives.
To review and moderate community story submissions before potential publication.

Public Comments and Replies

Reading public discussions does not require an account. To comment or reply, you sign in. The site uses your account identity to manage your contributions, moderation, reports, and posting limits. Your account email is not displayed with your comments.

Your chosen public name, approved comment or reply, and posting time are visible to visitors. Pending and declined contributions are not public. Site administrators can review submissions, reports, and moderation records. You can see your own pending comments while signed in.

Only share information you intend to make public. Approved comments may be copied or indexed outside this site. Contact Rick privately to request a correction or removal; removing a comment here cannot remove copies others have already made.

This discussion feature does not send visitor messages to an AI model or copy private conversations into public threads. Discussion email alerts are not currently enabled. You are not subscribed to a newsletter by commenting.

Data Storage and Security

Private conversation messages are not posted as public comments. They are stored in the site’s private administration area and are available only to authorized site administration. A private access token is used to let you return to your own conversation without exposing it to other visitors. We retain data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request access to any personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
Withdraw consent for communications at any time.
