The person behind the work

Why I Do This Work

Talking About Jesus and New Tech Advertising may appear to be two very different projects. To me, they are the two great expressions of the same life.

I have spent much of my life trying to understand how things work.

Why do people work hard and still feel stuck? Why do useful tools create more confusion instead of making life simpler? Why do people who want to know God sometimes end up feeling afraid, condemned, or unwanted?

These may sound like different questions, but to me they are connected. They are questions about truth, understanding, trust, and how the pieces fit together.

I am not trying to make myself important. I am trying to make what I have learned useful.

Why I Built Talking About Jesus

I first came to know Jesus as a teenager. That changed my life, but it did not answer every question. This site is where I preserve what I have learned through faith, failure, fatherhood, loss, questions, prayer, and the slow discovery that the Father Jesus revealed is better than many of us were taught to imagine.

Why I Built New Tech Advertising

I have spent most of my adult life in business, advertising, sales, management, technology, and customer relationships. NTA is my attempt to help small-business owners understand the larger picture, preserve what they know, build trust, and use technology in ways that make their work more human—not less.

Why the Work Is Connected

The subjects are different, but the purpose is much the same. In both places I am trying to help people move from confusion to understanding, from fragments to a whole picture, from fear to clarity, and from being treated as a transaction to being treated as a person.

A More Human Vision for Artificial Intelligence

Many people are understandably concerned that artificial intelligence will make the world less human. Used carelessly, it can.

But it can also help a business owner preserve decades of knowledge, help a family record stories before they disappear, and help someone untangle thoughts they have carried for years but never knew how to express.

The wisdom does not come from the machine. It comes from life—from experience, failure, faith, relationships, questions, work, love, and time. The technology can help us gather it, examine it, organize it, and communicate it more clearly.

That is how I use it here. AI does not decide what I believe or manufacture my voice. It helps me examine, organize, preserve, and express a lifetime of honest thought.

Why this page is here

This is not a sales page, and it is not a claim that I have every answer.

It is here because people deserve to know the person behind the work. They deserve to know that this site grew from a real life—a life of seeking, failing, learning, loving, questioning, and continuing to follow Jesus.

You are welcome here whether you agree with everything I believe or not. Honest questions are not the enemy of faith.
